Although we had no trouble I think the shuttle back to the train station could be better organised as there is no queue system in place and when it pulls up people just rush forward from all directions and there must be occasions where it fills up !.
Because we were UK citizens we were told we could not be signed up to the players club ( strange as I am a players club member at probably 20 or more USA casinos ) and to be honest if we had not been a little insistent I am not sure we would have got the gaming and food coupon promised although to be fair we did once we were sent across to the main players desk. If you want the shuttle you need to stand on the opposite side of the road opposite the bank ( this info is on the casino website but tucked away via 2 or 3 links and hard to find ). Mount Vernon West is an un-manned station and there were no signs that I saw telling you where to pick up the shuttle bus, we were waiting at the regular bus stop and it was just me being alert that noted an unmarked white mini bus ( apart from a small sign on the dash ) stop further down the road.
We were staying in Manhattan so took the train from Grand Central to Mount Vernon West as suggested by the casino web site getting the away day special they promote.
